1. Why must I register?

We need your registration details to:

  1. * Issue your tax receipt
  2. * Keep you informed of your charities activities
  3. * Communicate offers and special events

2. How do I select a charity?

You can search alphabetically or by charity genre. When you click on a charity button, you learn about the particular charity. When you click the select button, the charity you have chosen will be added to your default charity selection.


3. Can I change the charity selection?

You can change the selection as often as you like. Each time you press the select a charity button you will update your charity selection in your preferences. You must check to ensure that your correct selection appears in your preferences. Please note that points are converted to their cash equivalent and transferred to your selected charity at the end of each month. If you change your preference, the next payment will go to the new charity selection.


4. Can I choose more than one charity?

Sorry. Not yet. We are not able to facilitate the selection of more than one charity at a time.


5. Can I donate my airline points?

Check with your airline rewards program. If they permit a selection of Points4Purpose™ then you will receive a digital donation voucher which you can redeem on our Points4Purpose™ website. Simply enter the voucher reference number on the Redeem Voucher page and the points will be converted to cash and the donation paid to your chosen cause.


6. Can I donate my loyalty points from another platform?

Check with your supplier or employer rewards program. When you select Points4Purpose™ you will receive a digital donation voucher which you can redeem on our Points4Purpose™ website. Simply enter the voucher reference number on the Redeem Voucher page and the points will be converted to cash and the donation remitted to your chosen cause.


7. What if I can’t find my charity?

In the event that your Charity is not listed, we have provided an option for you to nominate a cause and we will be in touch to invite your selected cause to join our growing list of beneficiaries.


8. How do I know where my points have gone?

You will receive an email notifying you of the donation having being made and you will also receive a receipt on behalf of the cause you have selected.


9. What happens if I can’t find a charity to donate my points to?

If you have not selected a charity within 12 months of registering with points4purpose™, we will select a charity on your behalf. All Points4Purpose™ are paid to a charitable Cause.


10. Is there a cost for joining?

No. Registration is free!


11. Do my points expire?

No. If you have'nt selected a charity within 12 months of registering with points4purpose™, we will select a charity on your behalf. All Points4Purpose™ are paid to a charitable cause.


12. How do I know that my donation will reach my selected cause?

Your selected cause will issue a receipt for 100% of the value of the donation that you have made. We have a contract with EverydayHero to fulfill the donations that are made to participating causes. Each participating cause has a contract with EverydayHero, the terms of which may vary from one cause to another.


13. What is a cause?

A cause is an entity that has permission to fundraise.


14. Is my donation tax deductible?

If the cause you have selected holds a DGR status then you will be entitled to a tax deductible receipt for all donations over the value of $2. Not all social causes entitle a tax deduction. To be tax deductible, the social cause must hold a Deductible Gift Recipient status.


15. Can I transfer my points?

No. All points are converted to cash and paid to your chosen cause.


16. Can I unsubscribe?

Yes at any time.


17. How do I earn points?

Earning points is easy - all you have to do when purchasing products or special offers is make sure you link from the Points4Purpose™ website at the time of purchase.


18. How do I find participating businesses?

The best way to find out which businesses will reward you for your loyalty with Points4Purpose™, is to use the ‘Shop’ menu. You can search by category to find businesses that suit your needs. This list will be updated as new businesses join the Program, so make sure you visit the site regularly.


19. How do I donate my points?

Donating your points is easy - all you have to do is decide which charity or cause you want to reward and the value of your reward points will be paid to your selected cause. The more you spend, the more you are donating to charity!.


20. What is the value of my points earned on this website?

100% of the value of the points earned is donated to the cause of your choice. So, for example, when you earn 10,000 points4purpose through your shopping on this website, $65.00 is automatically donated to your chosen cause!


21. Can I simply donate cash?

Yes of course! Simply click the ‘Donate’ button and make a cash donation to the cause of your choice.

22. What Service Fees apply to my donation?

A Service Fee equivalent to 10 percent of the donation applies. This covers administrative costs as well as the cost of Points where applicable.In addition to this, a payment processing fee, variable by payment type applies as per EverydayHero's published Terms and Conditions.
