Terms & Conditions
Points4Purpose™ means the program through which members are able to donate points earned to a cause of their choice...
Points4Purpose™ Partner means a supplier of goods and/or services that participates in the program.
Authorised Signatory means an individual being not less than 18 years of age, who is authorised by a Member to operate a Member Account.
Member means the individual or entity registered as the holder of a Member Account.
Member Account means an account registered with Points4Purpose™ under the Program that stores relevant details pertaining to a Member including the Points balance.
Imagine Corporation means the operator and beneficial owner of the Points4Purpose Program.
Enrolment Date means the date the Member first joins the Program.
Qualifying Purchase means a transaction between a Member and a Points4Purpose™ Partner pursuant to which Points are donated as determined by Imagine Corporation from time to time.
Redemption means the payment by Imagine Corporation to the selected Qualifying Cause as nominated by the Member or to a charity selected by Imagine Corporation in exchange for Points under the Program.
Registered Contact means an individual registered by a Member to communicate with imagine Corporation in relation to the Member Account regarding:
(a) Changing an Authorised Signatory or Registered Contact;
(b) requesting Points balances; and
(c) making general queries relating to the Member Account.
Program means the program under which enrolled Members may accumulate and redeem Points and make donations to the Causes of their choice.
Points means the benefit which is credited to Members following a Qualifying Purchase or Donation in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
Transaction means any Qualifying Purchase or Donation.
Selected Qualifying Cause means a participating Cause that has registered with Points4Purpose™ or with any of its Fulfillment Partners.
Fulfillment Partner is an entity with whom Imagine Corporation has an agreement and which has concluded a contract with each qualifying cause to manage the transaction of a donation and issue a receipt to the Member.
Terms and Conditions mean these Terms and Conditions, as amended from time to time as published on the Points4Purpose™ website.
Transaction Processing Fee means the fee charged by Imagine Corporation or its Fulfillment Partner to the Qualifying Cause and which is published on the Points4Purpose™ website or the website of the Fulfilment Partner.
2. Members and Member Accounts
2.1. Imagine Corporation may refuse any application for membership in its sole discretion or where the applicant does not provide the required information (eg a valid email address and/or mobile number).
2.2. Members will be deemed to have accepted the Terms and Conditions if the Member has either:
(a) utilised their Membership for a Transaction;
(b) Made a donation, or
(c) registered with Points4Purpose™.
2.3. Points4Purpose™ will not be liable for any delay in registration of a Membership.
2.4. All Members must notify Imagine Corporation immediately of any change in the contact details
2.5. An Authorised Signatory may add or remove Registered Contacts from a Member Account by notice in writing to Imagine Corporation.
2.6. Disputes regarding a Transaction reflected in a Points Summary Statement must be notified to Imagine Corporation in writing within 90 days of the date of the relevant Transaction. Any adjustment to a Points Summary Statement will be at Imagine Corporation’s sole and absolute discretion.
2.7. A Member must not:
(a) use the Points4Purpose™ Program in any way that is not provided for in the Terms and Conditions;
(b) act in any way which is detrimental to the interests of other Members, Imagine Corporation, Points4Purpose™ Partners, or the Points4Purpose™ Program;
(c) Provide any misleading or false information;
(d) sell, assign, transfer or acquire, or offer to sell, assign, transfer or acquire any Program benefit other than in accordance with the Terms and Conditions; or
(e) act in any way which, in Imagine Corporation’s reasonable opinion, breaches or is likely to breach the Terms and Conditions.
2.8 Any tax, liability or duty arising from the Member’s participation in the Program is the responsibility of the Member.
2.9 A list of current Points4Purpose™ Partners will be displayed on the Points4Purpose™ website from time to time.
3. Earning points
3.1. The earning of Points through a Qualifying Purchase will be subject to the relevant Points4Purpose™ Partners’ usual terms and conditions of sale.
3.2. The Points4Purpose™ Partner will determine whether or not a purchase of their goods or services will be a Qualifying Purchase.
3.3. Points may be accumulated pursuant to Transactions as follows:
(a) Face to face: a Member may, at the time of order or purchase, present a Card at the point of sale, or, provide the Membership number.
(b) Online: a Member must provide the Membership or Card number when prompted.
3.4. Qualifying Purchases and the amount of Points earned on such Qualifying Purchases will be noted against the Member Account and can be accessed through the Points4Purpose™ website.
4. Redeeming Points
4.1. A Member may ONLY redeem Points as follows:
(a) Selection of a Qualifying Cause on the website at www.points4purpose.com.au or
(b) If no valid selection is made then by agreement that points4purpose will nominate and pay any Qualifying Cause in its sole discretion.
4.2. The Points balance available to a Member will be shown on the Points4Purpose™ website at the time of enquiry. Points4Purpose™ will not be liable for any delay in processing Reward Points.
4.3. Upon Redemption, the number of Points to be redeemed will be deducted from the current balance of Points in the Member Account.
4.5. Once Points are redeemed they cannot be refunded to a Points4Purpose™ Member Account nor exchanged for cash.
4.6. Points4Purpose™ will not be liable for any Refund transaction made between a Member and an Points4Purpose™ Partner. If a Refund is made in accordance with Points4Purpose™ Partners’ terms and conditions, Points4Purpose™ will credit the Points from the Refund to the Member’s Account.
4.7. Points4Purpose™ reserves the right to deduct any Points credited in error from the Points balance in a Member's Account.
4.8 Donations will be processed monthly.
5. Donating Points
5.1. Points may be transferred between Members and Qualifying Causes only.
5.2. Points4Purpose™ may take up to 30 days to process Donations.
5.3 In the event that a Member fails to select a qualifying Cause within 12 months of registering, then Imagine Corporation will make the donation to a participating Cause of its choice on behalf of the Member.
6.1. Points4Purpose™ Partners are not agents of Points4Purpose™ and have no authority, express or implied, to bind Imagine Corporation or to make any representations, warranties or statements on Points4Purpose™’s behalf.
6.2. To the extent permitted by law under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), imagine Corporation excludes all conditions and warranties whether express or implied and whether arising under legislation or otherwise, as to the condition, suitability, quality, fitness or safety of any goods and services supplied under the Program by a Points4Purpose™ Partner.
6.3. The Member indemnifies Imagine Corporation from any liability or expense arising from misuse of their Membership or the Program. The Member or Authorised Signatory must notify Points4Purpose™ immediately of any unauthorised transaction in relation to its Member Account.
6.4. imagine Corporation will not be liable for:
(a) a Points4Purpose™ Partner not offering Transactions or Redemption for any reason;
(b) failure by a Points4Purpose™ Partner to comply with the terms of any Transaction entered into with the Member.
6.5. Subject to law, including the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), any liability that Points4Purpose™ may have to a Member whether for negligence, breach of contract or otherwise is limited in the case of any claim relating to Points, to crediting that number of Points to the Member's Account.
7.1 Imagine Corporation may terminate a Member Account in the following circumstances:
(a) the Member fails to comply with the Terms and Conditions;
(b) if acting reasonably, suspects fraudulent practices or abuse of the Program;
7.2 A Member may terminate their participation in the Program at any time by providing notice in writing to Points4Purpose™.
8. Service Fees
8.1 A Service Fee equivalent to 10 percent of the donation applies. This covers administrative costs as well as the cost of Points where applicable.In addition to this, a payment processing fee, variable by payment type applies as per EverydayHero's published Terms and Conditions.
9.1. Imagine Corporation reserves the right to make any changes at any time to the Terms and Conditions. Any changes will be notified on Points4Purpose™’s website.
